The Knoxville Diocese Council of Catholic Women annually recognizes young women (14-21) who have made a significant contribution to their parish and community in the areas of service, spirituality, and leadership.
Affiliates may submit candidates for this honor to their Deanery. The four Deanery winners will be invited to the annual KDCCW convention or retreat and will receive a golden rose, dinner for herself and one guest, and a framed photograph with the Bishop, local parish priest or KDCCW spiritual advisor taken after the Mass of Remembrance. The young woman who is selected as the KDCCW Golden Rose Award recipient will receive a cash award. Should the KDCCW recipient be chosen as a finalist or the winner of the NCCW Golden Rose Award, KDCCW will pay for her expenses to the NCCW convention in the amount not to exceed the amount budgeted for the officers.Below are instructions for nominating candidates and applications.
